We have download the bulk edit app from the SharePoint store and our global administrator approved the request. However, the app does not appear under site contents and also not in the Project Center’s ribbon. We reviewed settings in central administration to make sure everything is set to allow. We were able to download another app from the store successfully. Any idea what settings may prevent us from seeing the bulk edit tool in our Project Online instance?

Hello,
It sounds as if the app is simply not added/enabled on the PWA Site Collection, can you open Site Contents in PWA and if you do not see the Bulk Edit app listed there, then click Add new Add-in. Do you see it in the list of available add-in’s? Also can you add it? Or does it indicate that the app cannot be installed here, or similar?
Thanks

Thank you for your response Martin. We double checked with a global administrator under Site Contents and via New (to add a new app), but we don’t see Nearbaseline anywhere. We also confirmed that Nearbaseline has been successfully requested and approved. Am not sure if there is anything else we can check? The environment we’re in is a development instance, so maybe there is something wrong with the instance. The team is currently setting up a test instance as well, so we can try all steps there as well. Let us know in case there is anything else we can check, and we will keep you posted too.

Hi Martin, We repeated the same steps in a new instance, but also here we cannot see the Bulk Edit tool under Site Contents. Also not in the Project Center. Do you know of any specific settings in Central Administration that we can check? We downloaded another app from the SharePoint store and that worked fine.

Hi Rudi,
As I understand when configured for admin approval, the app will not be auto-installed. Once approved you will still need to open Site Contents and Add an App, there you should now be able to see the Bulk Edit app in the list of apps and be able to choose install. Is that possible?
Regards,
