Site Collection App Catalog Deployment in Project Online

Hi,
first of all, thanks for a valuable addition to the Project Community. For customers that want to use the tool only on a single project online instance in SharePoint Online/Project Online, is there a way to do a scoped deployment using a site collection app catalog? I have tried to use the provided app package, but the solution does not show up even though it is listed as enabled and deployed in the “Apps for SharePoint” list.
