We have an issue with Bulk Edit. After bulk update, the project center is not open up with a list of projects. According to Microsoft, the Bulk Edit holds the process and does not allow the Project Web App to open the project center. Is there a way to stop whatever the process that is holding it? We tried to remove the Bulk Edit but it’s process still runs. Please advise.
It sounds like the projects are being left checked out by the update, this could happen in the case of an error updating a specific field. Does it affect all project edits? Also do you receive an error message?
Either way the fix is simple; open Server Settings -> Force Check-in projects.
