error – could not find field or unsupported field type

loaded bulk edit just fine. I am able to select fields to edit which are custom fields (text) with lookup table. Look up table options not shown when focus is in box but it allows me to manually enter a value. Manual entry matches exactly what is in look up table but get error “could not find field or unsupported field type” when I advance to next project. Not sure where the issue is? Is something in my custom field not configured properly?
